Morning: Your driver picks you up from your Islamabad location at 9:00am. The scenic 65km drive to Murree takes approximately 1.5–2 hours via the Murree Expressway, climbing through beautiful pine-forested hills.
Midday: Arrive in Murree town. Start with Pindi Point for panoramic valley views — a cable car ride gives aerial views of the surrounding hills. Walk along Mall Road, Murree's iconic shopping street lined with local eateries, handicraft shops, and seasonal vendors.
Afternoon: Drive to Patriata (New Murree) — a scenic 8km from Murree with a chairlift and cable car connecting the peaks. The ride offers stunning views of the Murree hills. Return to Murree town for evening.
Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant on Mall Road. Check in to your hotel in Murree. (Hotel not included — we recommend GPO Murree or PTDC Motel for their location and value.)
Morning: After breakfast, drive 10km from Murree to Bhurban — home to the Pearl Continental Bhurban with its stunning mountain setting and green golf course views (accessible even if not staying there). The forest road between Murree and Bhurban is one of the most beautiful short drives in Pakistan.
Mid-Morning: Continue through the Galyat — the collective name for a chain of hill stations east of Murree. Drive through Dunga Gali (beautiful pine forest viewpoints) to Nathia Gali at 2,500 metres. Nathia Gali is quieter and cooler than Murree, with excellent walks through cedar forest and the famous Governor's House trail.
Afternoon: Explore Ayubia National Park — connected to Nathia Gali via a 4km chairlift through the forest canopy, one of Pakistan's most scenic rides. The park has good woodland walks and wildlife including barking deer and various birds.
Late Afternoon: Depart Nathia Gali for Islamabad via the scenic Galyat road. Arrive back approximately 6:00–7:00pm.
