With-Driver Rental

For most with-driver bookings in Islamabad, only your CNIC (Pakistani nationals) or passport (foreign visitors) is required. No driving licence is necessary since you will not be operating the vehicle.

Self-Drive Rental — Pakistani Nationals

You need a valid Pakistani driving licence, your original CNIC, and a refundable security deposit (typically PKR 15,000-50,000 depending on vehicle category).

Self-Drive Rental — Foreign Nationals

Foreign visitors need a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) obtained in their home country before travel, alongside their home country driving licence and passport. Pakistani authorities do not issue IDPs locally.

Corporate and NGO Bookings

Organisational bookings typically require a company authorisation letter on official letterhead alongside the individual driver/passenger's CNIC or passport.
